James Wetherbee Bio:

A six-time space traveler, Jim Wetherbee is the only astronaut to have commanded five spaceflight missions. After graduating from Notre Dame as an Aerospace Engineer, he became a US Naval aviator and test pilot. In 1984, Jim was selected by NASA and flew twice to the International Space Station and the Russian space station, Mir.

For over thirty-five years, Jim’s work as a test pilot, astronaut, director flight crew operations, deputy director Johnson Space Center, and a safety executive in the oil and gas industry have given him experiences and insights into dangerous businesses. He is the author of Controlling Risk—In A Dangerous World.

Cooked in your own home! California Lobster (Panulirus Interruptus), are hand harvested by SPS Dad Carlo Beronio in the California Channel Islands, and are a rare seafood for most people. The dinner will be prepared in your kitchen in the Bend area, with Carlo providing all of the accoutrements, sides and beverages for eight (8) people.

Carlo has been diving for lobster and other seafood, sustainably harvesting for over 20 years. He was raised in the kitchen with his Italian family and has cooked with a number of acclaimed chefs including Hubert Keller, Thomas Keller, Masaharu Morimoto and Tom Colicchio.

Dinner should take place prior to August 31, 2019.
